Summer Percussion Ensemble School
17 - 20 January 2023
Summer Percussion Ensemble School is designed to give percussion students the resources to develop their percussion ensemble skills. There will be covered many styles of music with emphasis given to the development of strong technical fundamentals and exposure to percussion ensemble playing. Students will learn strategies for improving reading skills and proper technique on mallet and other percussion instruments.

Group A - Beginners to Low Intermediate Level
Experience in playing percussion is recommended but not required for admission to this group.
Staff: Sergei Golovko and Estefania Alvarez (APA), Presenters (Melbourne Conservatorium of Music)
Session times: 9.30am – 12.30 (Morning snacks provided) Total cost: $440 (Incl.GST)
Group B - Intermediate to Advanced Level
Experience in playing percussion is required for admission to this group.

Session times: 2.00 – 5.00pm (Afternoon snacks provided) Total cost: $440 (Incl.GST)
